CUSPORF 2024 MATCH 6 REPORT: BIOLOGY VS ISS/FRE

Biology and ISS/FRC battled to a barren draw, with both teams having their fair share of chances. The first half saw few opportunities, as both sides struggled to break through the opposing defenses.

The second half mirrored the first, though ISS/FRC began to exert more pressure. This pressure appeared to pay off in the 45th minute when ISS/FRC scored, only for the goal to be ruled out for offside, much to the disappointment of their fans.

The game took a turn when Shakirullah of ISS/FRC received his marching orders after a second booking in the latter part of the second half, leaving his team to finish the match with ten men.

Despite the numerical disadvantage, ISS/FRC managed to maintain their composure. Biology had two shots on target, while ISS/FRC managed four. The game remained goalless at the final whistle.

Disciplinary issues were notable, with Biology receiving one yellow card after committing eight fouls, while ISS/FRC committed 13 fouls. Both teams showed resilience but lacked the finishing touch to secure the win. The match ended 0-0, earning both teams their first point of the competition. Both teams will hope for a fair result in match between KHE and Mathematics tomorrow.

Biology will play their last group game against KHE on July 20, 2024, while ISS/FRC will face Mathematics on July 19, 2024. Both teams will be looking to secure their first win and book a place in the semifinals.
